Gung-Ho

Remember when I was all gung-ho about exercising and feeling better and it was exciting for all of us? Well that plane has crashed and burned. Ok, not that dramatic but I’ve been doing a lot of:

I really adore the idea of using tiny kids armchairs for small dogs instead of dog beds. How stylish!

I have every excuse in the book, too – I’m tired and I’m hungry. I don’t have time, I can’t find good food to eat and my favorite – I don’t care. I’ve canceled my follow up appointments with my doctor and it’s all because I’m just so overwhelmed with dieting and exercising that I can feel myself shutting down instead of staying motivated. The good news is that I did get a FitBit for Mother’s Day and I’ve been wearing it pretty regularly ever since. I like it because I can see my steps progress (I have a lot of work to do to hit 10,000 steps daily!) and I’m able to see those times when I get a “burn” on. My favorite is when I have a 7 minute burn during the day and it’s usually when I’m making my way back from visiting the twins at daycare, to my office to eat lunch! ha!!
